How to you Mask your Text with Photoshop!
Ever wanted to know how to get your text to display a photography, video, gradient or pattern? If so then what you’re after is learning how to mask text with a photograph or pattern etc.
It is super easy and designers have been doing it for donkey years. And now you can too! It takes about a minute to apply and once you get the hang of it you’ll wonder why you hadn’t been doing it before!
Here’s how:
- Open your photograph in photoshop and unlock the layer.
- Type your text (choose a thicker font or heavier font weight for maximum impact).
- Place the text layer under your photograph layer,
- Select your photograph layer right-click, and choose clipping mask.
Sit back and bask in your new found skills!
