When we talk about marketing we often say that to get your message across you must communicate in your Brand Voice. But how many of us truly know what that is?
So let me break it down the best way I can. Your Brand Voice is the persona of your brand; it is how you communicate with your audience through emotion, thought, words and images. All of these components add up as a visual identity in your audience’s head of what your brand looks like!
It is a pretty cool and powerful tool that needs to reflect with your brands values and resonate with your ideal audience.
So to get to that show stopping Brand Voice, you first need to discover your core brand values. These aren’t your personal values, but what your brand stands for. What sets your brand apart, what makes your brand unique and makes it the ideal choice for your consumers? Once these have been determined you can work out who your ideal audience is and how these values would reflect with them. Does your brand make them feel inspired, teaches them, involves them or simply cheers them up?
These two things are absolutely essential when creating a solid sustainable Brand Voice. You need a voice that will grow with your business, not one that will tire you and your audience. Your Brand Voice is embedded in your website, social media and marketing so take the time to discover what your brand’s values are, what you want to say and who you are trying to say it too!
